Publisher review:SM2 DB Health Check is designed help with Database Maintenance. The component will check the status of all Joomla tables in the current database and repair any that require it. It will also optimise any tables that have met the optimisation threshold.
Simple Configuration Options allow for this component to automatically use the Joomla Daatabase connection details, or to use independant ones, enabling the component to check the status of all available Databases and Tables and to modify the Optimisation Threshold.
Also included is a command line script that can be used to perform the same action. Simply modify the parameters to point to the root of the Joomla site and supply the database details, then it can be run in cron or as a scheduled task.
Installation is easy. Simply install as you would any other component. Please note that this component will only work with Joomla! not with Mambo.
